close relative to a class problem with enigma cipher
machines and the green acetate filter in the case. when the
case was left closed for years on the shelf of an archive the acetic
acid would eat the metal rims of the key tops on this famous ww2 cipher
machine. - there is strips that will test
for the acid in the air.</DIV>
