This was not her normal Chevy show as S&H Green Stamps was the sponsor on this episode. The live Chevy sponsored shows don't have the cue box (commercials were either live out of studio 2 adjacent to studio 4 or from a color film chain in telecine). But this particular show did. So why this show had the box is unknown unless there were some regional inserts expected over the net feed. This is the earliest cue box I've ever come across on 2" Quad videotapes from NBC. </div><div><br></div><div><img height="72" width="217" apple-width="yes" apple-height="yes" id="449daf42-d272-4b4e-91eb-a965a8f54f44" src="cid:E32F50FF-8F35-4627-BACA-3F73650AC3B7@charter.com"></div><div><br></div><div>The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson had cue boxes coming directly out of studio 1. The timing of the break wasn’t finalized during production since there may be some editing done after production that could affect those timings. Also, the pulse was added to other recorded shows, but I don’t recall it being added to LIVE shows such as Today. On Today, local breaks were cued by the anchor’s line "…This is Today on NBC.” For Today, that was the local cue as long as I can remember.</div></div><br><div>
