the unit, if you have audio connections <BR>(miniature Phoenix style
connectors), then you have the audio option. The <BR>other options you
can check by looking at the menu. Since this is a Leitch <BR>branded
unit, the Noise Reduction is an option that is activated through
<BR>software. If your unit does not have it activated, then obtaining
the code <BR>is difficult. The DV option can also be checked from the
menu. The network <BR>interface works without any special
software. From the 575 internal display <BR>and menu, configure the IP
address and network settings to match your <BR>network. Then just put
the IP address of the unit in your browser and it <BR>will load the opening
menu just like any other web page. A full operators <BR>manual is
available for download from the company (now Imagine <BR>Communications)
website. They also have downloads for the most recent <BR>firmware, but
you likely do not need that. Beware that there are two <BR>different
versions of the firmware, depending on the hardware version of <BR>your 575
and loading the wrong one can cause the unit to cease operation.
<BR>Especially if you have software options enabled, I would not update the
<BR>firmware, or certainly not without a backup of the current configuration.
<BR>The 575 is a great box for interfacing analog and digital hardware and
<BR>giving you "handles" on all the usual proc amp controls as well as
<BR>adjustable delays, test signals, auto-setup routines, etc. With the
audio <BR>option, it can also track audio delay to match video delay, balance
levels, <BR>generate test tones, etc. Pretty impressive box for its day,
