Your observations of VT 'clarity' are so true - wuth exception...!

<div>I agree with your points, except the original film 'scales up' to a large screen better than 525/625, and the physical layers of dye and celluloid added a warmth to the path of light through the film itself. </div>

<div>Of course the last ten years of HD/2K/4K and signal processing have largely dismissed those arguments!</div>
