lot thicker, so will not run successfully. I have had a couple of rolls of
Ampex 456 turn up, but could do nothing with them.<BR><BR>David

is part of the reason for the limitations of the audio tracks which are
longitudinal. Conversely, audio tape made with longitudinal
orientation would not work well for transverse scanning, but maybe the
audio tracks would be better!</DIV>

used as quad tape stock. If so, what problems might be encountered - and if
