<DIV>Hi Chris:</DIV>

<DIV>That's it, but as Larry points out, it's more than the wiring, the
connector is larger, so even if the connector is removed from the base plate,
you can tell by the noticeably larger size of the connector area.
Likewise, if it's all assembled as in the next to last picture, the size
difference of the cover plate is still easy to see compared to the cover on a
Mk-X.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>As to Larry's question about the head blower, I have wondered about that
too. There was an evolution through the years. The "blower" on the
VR-1000 and the 1100 was a monster, a real vacuum cleaner design. I don't
recall exactly what the 2000 had. The 1200 was much less powerful than the
earlier versions, and I've noticed that the Mk-X head motor doesn't seem to
create much heat. So, why was the cooling deleted? Just not really
needed, or a result of the different motor design in the Mk-XV?</DIV>

<DIV>You are right. Now it is so easy to see. Look at the wire for
the tach. There is only one on the earlier pictures. The 15 had
two tach systems. The original once a revolution and the later
one.<BR><BR>Chris Hill</DIV>
