<DIV>The Eidophor is an interesting beast. A physics project to say the
least. Was yours a mono or color one? I had one at the University of
Michigan. It came in the early 70's. We used it for medical
conferences. The doctor that donated the unit was very impressed by one
and had to have it for his new building that he donated the money for. He
was very well off as being a member of the Dow family helped, like Dow
Chemical.</DIV>

<DIV>Ours was one of the last that had tubes in it. Phillips made the
electronics. Gretag made the rest of it.</DIV>
