<DIV>I see the offset that you're talking about at the bottom of the frame in
the on-line video. I hadn't looked at the You-tube video other than to
verify that it got there. Looking at the picture in pulse-cross coming out
of the machine, it's not like that, so I may have done that somehow in the
conversion for You-tube. I'll have another look tomorrow. Thanks for
pointing that out.</DIV>

<DIV>At the bottom there are about three lines that are to the left.
Then the edge artifacts of the letters seem to be that of a 3/4
tape.</DIV>

<DIV>That is why I made the statement. It could be that I am wrong but I
thought it might of been dubbed up to quad.<BR><BR>Chris Hill</DIV>

<DIV>Hi Chris:</DIV>

<DIV>Not sure what you are seeing at the bottom. I transferred this a
couple of hours ago off of the original quad reel, and although the quality
is not what I would expect from quad, I didn't see any errors that made me
think it was ever on 3/4. The interesting thing about the vertical
instability is that it usually consists of a vertical shift of only a
portion of the display. It appears that part of the display shifts up or
down one or sometimes two lines while the remainder stays put. From
some of what is "said" during the presentation, I take this to be a very
early demo.</DIV>
