There's only one person I know who might make Park's dream to see
all the quad manuals scanned come true - the scanningist guy in
broadcasting; David Gleason.

Entirely at his own (considerable) expense, he's invested in
sophisticated scanners to digitize and share the printed history of
the first hundred years of broadcasting.

If anyone was willing and able to scan quad manuals for the greater
good, I'm betting on Mr. G!

Read about the gear he uses at: http://www.americanradiohistory.com/Scanning-for-American-Radio-History.htm

And I hope any one who is aware of broadcasting publications
presently gathering dust will allow David to digitize them for all
to share online. He'll even pay the postage.
Subject: Re: [QuadList] Seeking AVR-2 and AVR-3 PAL alignment info (or
manuals/scans :)
Ted,
One day, I'd like to see all the quad manuals scanned. Of course you know the problem. Not only a lot of pages but the large fold-outs are difficult to deal with.
Also, there is a lot of other material like training department supplements, FST docs and other manufacturers like Merlin. And even freehand notes and cheats made by operating engineers.
Best,
Park

I've had a request for Ampex AVR-2 and AVR-3 PAL alignment info (or manuals/scans) from here in the US.
The particular trouble is in the TBC board, but other info is welcome.
If you have spare manuals and would find a PDF version useful... or have scanned your manuals and can supply a PDF, they'd be appreciated.
