<DIV>Hi Ted:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I received an email this afternoon from Harris, apparently sent to everyone
who had an account with them. It's what you would expect the standard
corporate line to be.....everything is fine and we look forward to a great
future.....</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I'm sure you recall that they entered the broadcast business by acquiring
Gates, but oddly, if you look at their corporate website history page, there's
no mention of that.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I can tie this to quad machines, because I've always had a variety of
Leitch hardware, and they acquired Leitch some years ago, so signals that
go into or come out of my quads often pass thru a Harris product!</DIV>

<DIV>While Harris didn't manufacture video recorders... it's long history in
broadcasting makes it worthy of noting.</DIV>

<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>with links to previous stories Devoncroft has covered that shed some
light on the recent past.</DIV>

<DIV>There's also been a change in the Chairman/CEO position between the two
quarters, so that may have something to do with the decision.</DIV>

<DIV>If the Broadcast division is for sale... obvious questions are:</DIV>
