EJ playback originated from U-Matic BVU-200s in 1978.<br> Also, as I recall, though the TCR-100 cart machine itself was capable of 2-second pre-rolls, all the other quad VTRs in the tape area on the 5th floor (mostly RCA TR-70As and Bs) used 5-second prerolls.
