<DIV>I have seen the portable one displayed. It was a military unit that
was sold to the public. I was told somewhere that the original military
one was a Octo-plex unit. I have vague memories of someone previous
mentioning the model and working with it. So we have to assume that it was
sold. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Any way this has been an interesting discussion. </DIV>

Chris,
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Well, it was s stab anyway. You are the expert, not me. I only offer the
following:</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>In the RCA New Look Price List dated March 1, 1967, the TR3B is listed at
$22,500.00 I would surmise from this that the 3B was shipped from the factory,
as opposed to a field upgrade. The 1966 sales catalog does not mention a 3B,
just a 3. Additionally, the same price sheet lists a TR4B for $34,900. The 22D
is listed as $59,500.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Thanks for the clarification on the A model assignment when the B model
came out. Likewise, the TR-22HL correction. Most interesting is that the TR 50
was a TR4HB if coming from the factory. </DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Do you have a TPR-10? That one is elusive. The competitor to the VR
3000.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Regards,</DIV>

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Very good on the list. Alex would be close to giving you the
daily double.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>All plain machines became automatically the A model when a B model was
introduced. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I am not aware of a TR-3 B version. So that one we need to
ask more about. Would this be the version that was after serial number
3150 that included the Line Lock module? After 40170 for TR-4?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The TR-4 HB was not a factory delivered model. A TR-4 HB was done
in the field or as a refurbishment. on a trade. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It was the TR-50 if done at the factory. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The TR-22 HL was never delivered so that one bites the dust on the

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The rest of the list is pretty good. Got every one of the
versions. </DIV>

<DIV>So we have not had any takers on the subject.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>So since we had a great discussion about the TRT-1, here is the
answer for that series.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>TRT-1A</DIV>
<DIV>TRT-1B</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>There was a C added to the end if it had the color rack
added. The A version had a number of different layouts. It
was the very first machine that RCA really mass manufactured. The
layout would change and the servo amps were a number of versions.
The design by the B model was stable.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Now there were several other accessories that were available.
Solid state Capstan servo that was the Switch lock. Then Pix Lock
that did the H lock. Finally a monochrome ATC system.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>So does anyone else know the other models?</DIV>
