<DIV>Good point but all the Ampex machines and the RCA TR-60 that I worked with
had back of tape erase heads. We still got the magnetic scratches.
Hated it when you see them the first thing is stop and demagnetize the deck as
the DOC would not cover these errors and the tape signal was damaged.
