<DIV>If these are the air dampers that are on the earlier machines, there is not
any real service issues. The thing is just keep them clean. I only
did it once in a few years. It was remove the plunger and clean out the
dust. Boy that was a long time ago. I remember the silicon fluid in
the AMPEX dampers.</DIV>
