The two tapes were recorded at the tracking station in Australia and these two tapes have been missing for years. We believe they were erased by a technician at NASA because he could not play them. The reason that he could not play them is because it took a special machine to play the Apollo 11 tapes.<br> <br> The moon landing videos that we now see on TV are copies of a videotape that recorded the LIVE transmission from the moon off a TV monitor at Houston.
