<DIV>I have no statistics as to temperature for operations.  Now the 

interesting part was that at the AMPEX Colorado Springs factory there was a hot 

room.  I entered it once and they were testing machines for heat 

stress.  Every machine had to go through this test before shipment.  I 

saw an ACR 25 in there with a couple of other machines.</DIV>

<DIV>That was an interesting tour of the factory.  I saw the room which was 

lined with all models of quads.  This was the head building room and they 

had to have all these to test the heads.</DIV>
